My hubby was telling me he thought I should try medical marijuana.
I had been taking gabapentin for almost twenty years.
Over the years, the dosage had quadrupled, & I was at the maximum dosage. I was taking aspirin & using over-the-counter products to help relieve my pain. I had a shoulder issue a couple of years ago, they were supposed to put an injection in the bursa, however they missed their mark & hit a nerve. I had constant pain in my arm that didn’t allow for sleep or much of anything else. I told my hubby I was thinking about trying medical marijuana. I had heard numerous people talking about medical marijuana & how it had helped them with pain. My hubby asked why I thought medical marijuana would labor for me. I shrugged & told him I had tried everything else & nothing worked. Would it really hurt or cost us more money, if I were to try medical marijuana? He gave me a hug & told me to find out how I could get it. I was no use to my hubby. My hand was shaking so badly that I couldn’t hold a cup of coffee, let alone make supper for him. By the time I cleaned the house, I was in so much pain that I was in tears. I told him I wanted to try medical marijuana so I could be a wife to him again. When I was told it would take a little over six weeks to get my first marijuana order, I didn’t care. I felt like I had wasted a lifetime already & six weeks meant nothing to me.
