I had been taking gabapentin for almost twenty years… Over the years, the dosage had quadrupled, and I was at the maximum dosage.
I was taking aspirin and using over-the-counter products to help relieve my pain. I had a shoulder issue a couple of years ago… They were supposed to put an injection in the bursa, but they missed their mark and hit a nerve. I had constant pain in my arm that didn’t allow for sleep or much of anything else. I told my fiance I was thinking about trying medical marijuana. I had heard many people talking about medical marijuana and how it had helped them with pain. My fiance asked why I thought medical marijuana would labor for me. I shrugged and told him I had tried everything else and nothing worked. Would it really hurt or cost us more currency, if I were to try medical marijuana? He provided me a hug and told me to find out how I could get it. I was no use to my fiance. My hand was shaking so badly that I couldn’t hold a cup of coffee, let alone make lunch for him. By the time I cleaned the house, I was in so much pain that I was in tears. I told him I wanted to try medical marijuana so I could be a husbandy to him again. When I was told it would take a little over six weeks to get my first marijuana order, I didn’t care. I felt like I had wasted a lifetime already and six weeks meant nothing to me.
