The evening shift also draws the weirdos… To be tolerable the morning shift is only slightly better, during the morning is when the seasoned folks and the soccer moms come by the shop, then at evening all of us get the loonies, a lot of folks who look like they haven’t seen the light of morning in years! I consider myself a bit of a weirdo too, so don’t know I’m judging these folks.
In fact, the reason I prefer the evening shift is because I never know what kind of unusual lady will come walking into the cannabis dispensary; Last evening a woman came staggering into the cannabis dispensary just before midnight, however she looked like a homeless chick, and smelled like one too.
I was sure she was going to ask to use the lavatory, but instead she asked me if the store carried Purple Haze. This is an seasoned and famous strain of cannabis which has been around since the 1960s. I pulled down the glass box filled with multiple ounces of Purple Haze, which brought a big smile to her face. Imagine my surprise when this ratty looking fellow whipped out a fat wad of money and bought two ounces of cannabis on the spot, but not only that, she also tipped me a crisp new 50 dollar bill, which is the largest gratuity I’ve ever gotten here at the cannabis dispensary. I have never seen that client before, so it just goes to show you how weird and unexpected the evening shift can be at the cannabis dispensary. I wonder who I will meet tonight.
