It’s been a fairly challenging stretch of years for me.
I lost my dad swiftly and then the pandemic hit. It made everything so impossible with honoring his wishes and taking care of his estate at the same time. Yet, it was my grief about losing my hero that was put on some sort of indefinite hold due to a global health crisis. Luckily, I was able to still get to the weed store or I don’t know if I could have dealt. The local weed store was even offering its common buyers marijuana delivery when things were at their scariest. Having cannabis delivery was so convenient but it was also just a bit of a novelty. The local cannabis dispensary had to adjust their operation and were able to handle certain numbers of people at a time in the cannabis dispensary. While this was happening, the owners of our local weed store seized the chance to purchase an aged corner store just around the corner. This place is now the modern cannabis cafe. And it was such a life saver for me to be completely honest. I could actually relax outside and totally appreciate the finest pop in town and still be safe. Just partying outside with some awesome friends at the cannabis cafe was a lifeline for a while. Finally, the grief about dad hit me especially hard and it’s been pretty tough to sort of unravel and get used to the fact that he is gone. Yet, there isn’t a terrible day yet that can’t be helped with a cannabis edible treat and the best cup of pop in town. At least I have that going for me and that’s something I’m genuinely grateful for.
