It’s been a tough stretch of years for me.
I lost my dad suddenly and then the pandemic hit.
It made everything so difficult with honoring his wishes and taking care of his estate. Yet, it was my grief about losing my hero that was put on some sort of weird indefinite hold due to a global health crisis. Thankfully, I was able to still get to the cannabis dispensary or I don’t know if I could have dealt. The local cannabis spot was even offering it’s regular customers marijuana delivery when things were at their scariest. Having cannabis delivery was so cool but it was also just a bit of a novelty. The local cannabis dispensary quickly modified their operation and were able to handle certain numbers of people at a time in the cannabis dispensary. Amidst all of this, the owners of my local cannabis spot seized the opportunity to snap up an old coffee shop just around the corner. This place is now the new cannabis cafe. And it was such a life saver for me. I could sit outside and enjoy the best coffee in town and still be safe. Just gathering outside with friends at the cannabis cafe was a lifeline for a while. Finally, the grief about dad hit me and it’s been tough to sort of unravel and get acclimated to him being gone. Yet, there isn’t a bad day yet that can’t be cured with a cannabis edible treat and the best cup of coffee in town. At least I have that going for me and that’s something I’m just so grateful for.
