Jack, my best neighbor, stopped by our lake house on his way home from the cannabis dispensary yesterday.
A brand new item he found at the shop caught his eye. The edible cannabis product consisted of a thick elixir with 1,000 mg of THC. It was thick and tasted more like cough syrup than a flavorful drink. It was so bitter that I wanted to spit it out after taking a sip of it. Since it was Jack’s money, I kept it down even though it tasted terrible. Having drank a large amount of the elixir, Jack urged me to take another large gulp. Normally I don’t succumb to peer pressure, but I didn’t want to appear weak in front of my best friend. So I gulped down the bottle. The sweet and sticky substance was tough to swallow. At first I wanted to vomit because it tasted so bad. My body started to feel the effects of the elixir shortly after Jack went home from our lake house after he stayed for an hour. After experiencing light-headedness and dizziness, the feeling of being high took over. My high lasted all day and I didn’t smoke anything! Despite the taste and the gag reflex caused by the Elixir, it worked wonders and kept me high all day. I would buy the product again if I found a flavor other than grape. Lemon lime or orange might taste better.
