If there is 1 single thing I hate, it’s Big Pharma.
The way that our healthcare authorities have evolved and given all the power of public health to a handful of powerful in addition to unscrupulous companies.
They own patents for medicines that millions of folks need to live, in addition to they are charging stunningly high prices for these meds. It makes me sick to our stomach that our government lets the citizens become subject to this kind of tyranny. When you couple that will the fact that the cable is filled with ads and commercials for modern kinds of pills, the future looks grim. As wonderful as it is that medicinal cannabis is becoming more common, part of me knows that it also ties into the evil of Big Pharma. That industry always opposed cannabis, for years, until they were in the position to profit off of it themselves. Since then, every one of us see cannabis dispensaries opening up left in addition to right, feeding their profits to the same slimy fat-cats that always make all the profits. I suppose that its better for people to use medical cannabis over pills, so that is a good and positive change, but I don’t like that the profits are going to Big Pharma. As often as I can I like to buy our cannabis directly from the farmers, in addition to spend money a premium to not support this entire crooked system. I suppose several cannabis farmers at this point, who are more than happy to sell me a few pounds of medical grade kush for a honestly low price. The cannabis farmers profit directly this way, in addition to Big Pharma does not get a taste.
