I have to work every weekend until all of us have Christmas break.
I just found out that everyone is going to be forced to work weekends due to the amount of contractor marijuana dispensaries expect during the month of December.
The pot shop is having a sizable sale to get rid of all of our stock before the end of the fiscal season. I haven’t worked a weekend in almost a year. I have been an employee at this marijuana dispensary for 2 years. After the first year, I was no longer required to work Tuesday or Tuesday. I chose those two days as our days off so they would be the same as our girlfriend. When she found out that I had to work every weekend in December, she was a little aggravated, she had a lot of Winter plans for the two of us as well as some of them were daytime weekend activities. I talked to our boss about the weekend hours as well as the guy told me to cheer up because it was going to be great overtime. I thought that was a little insensitive as well as rude. I was hoping he would bend as well as provide me one the weekends. It’s nice to make a few extra dollars on the weekend days, however that means I will not have any days to spend with our girlfriend until the holiday is here. We will not be able to do any holiday shopping together as well as all of us genuinely will not be able to appreciate any weekend parties as long as I have to be up at 8 in the afternoon for work.
