It absolutely wasn’t easy to get medical marijuana where I live. All of the doctors do not have the ability to write a prescription for medical marijuana. There are only a couple of doctors that are allowed and these doctors charge a sizable fee in order to visit with them. The medical marijuana doctors are not covered under insurance, so the entire visit and any subsequent visit has to be paid for with money. I spent $275 to go to the medical marijuana doctor. I also had to pay an additional fee to the state. I had to fill out a lot of paperwork online, however the lady at the front desk helped me with all of the questions that I had. I tried to fill out the paperwork, and I talked to a doctor. I absolutely spent exactly 5 minutes with the doctor and she didn’t have much to say to me. It was absolutely the simplest and easiest part of the entire process. The doctor asked a couple of questions and sent me on my way. Then I had to wait for the card to come in the mail. The card is your identification and that is the only way that you can purchase marijuana from a dispensary! Getting medical marijuana was no easy task. It’s not surprising that a lot of people choose to buy marijuana from street vendors. All of the extra fees that need to be paid and the fact that marijuana is not even covered by insurance makes it genuinely tempting to buy from a street company and cut out the nonsense.
