Three years later Sheila graduated, and Sam was still slinging sacks of cannabis in the quad and playing hacky sack with the undergrads.
Sheila’s first week on a school campus she met Sam, an older guy that was always hanging around campus. Sam never wore shoes, and seemed to exist solely to play hacky sack and play aged Bob Marley songs on his guitar. Some of the older students told her that Sam had been a fixture on the campus quad for over a decade. He wasn’t a student, and he didn’t work here, he just hung out and sold cannabis. Apparently the campus security constantly looked the other way for Sam, because he also offered them with cannabis. Sheila was quick to make friends with Sam, mostly because she was new to the town and had no connections for marijuana. This was years ago, long before legal cannabis was a reality, so she needed to find a way to score some weed. What is school without cannabis, is she right? For the first few weeks on campus Sheila got all her cannabis from Sam. Eventually she found other resources, and cannabis dealers who were less creepy and weird. Three years later Sheila graduated, and Sam was still slinging sacks of cannabis in the quad and playing hacky sack with the undergrads. Sam has what is called a “charmed life” and although every day is the same for him, every day is a perfect day filled with fun, friendship, and cannabis smoke. In some ways she envies Sam. But not that much, especially since Sheila has access to all the best cannabis strains in the world, and she can smoke it in the comfort of her own home.
