After shoulder surgery, they prescribed Ed with medical cannabis.

My husband Ed isn’t a baby over pain, but after his shoulder surgery, he was having a difficult time coping.

When we went back in for the post-surgical checkup, the dentist said he couldn’t deliver Ed anything but tylenol, but he would suggest medical marijuana.

It took about a week to get the medical marijuana card, but the doc could deliver Ed the prescription he needed, as well as he would not charge him a penny. I shrugged when Ed looked at me. I would do anything if it gives him some comfort. I knew how Ed tossed as well as turned in bed, as well as moaned in his sleep, if he slept at all. Only a couple of mornings later, I called the dentist as well as asking if he would send in the prescription for medical marijuana. Once Ed got the notification from the state, it took less than a week to get the medical marijuana ID card. 2 mornings later, Ed was sleeping more comfortably as well as his pain had lessened. I don’t want Ed taking medical marijuana forever, but the dentist said he could have mild discomfort for up to a year. Ed and I have the medical marijuana card for a year, so when it expires, he may be ready to stop using it. I hope he is ready to quit using medical marijuana at the end of the year, but if he isn’t, we’ll just need to go back to our dentist to renew the prescription. Ed will then pay the state as well as get a new medical marijuana ID card… For now, Ed has a year before we need to decide.
