Even though I’m an extremely shy and reserved person, I have done fairly well in task interviews over the years.

After the first task interview at 15, I have managed to build on what I initially l acquired and how I’ve interacted with employers in the years since.

You start to get a assume for what is expected of an employee in an ideal situation. As long as you can communicate clear ways in which you can fulfill those expectations, you’re at a great venue to do a task interview. You also have to develop an ability to navigate questions about yourself and your task history. That means remembering pieces of information that toil in your favor while figuring out ways to frame your limitations as if they’re sources of strength through overcoming inherent adversities. If you can ride this fine line, you can succeed with most task interviews. However, there are also some things you want to avoid discussing with a potential employer, especially before securing the task in the first venue. A lot of companies don’t want employees who use cannabis, even if it’s legal for recreational use in the state they operate within. I suppose some people who were drug inspected and lost their task opportunity despite having medical marijuana cards for major diseases and illnesses. Some employers are extremely strict about employees’ drug use. They might be okay with you drinking at a bar every night after work, but they’ll get angry the hour they find out that you consume cannabis as well. I tell my friends to keep that information to themselves even if they’re outright asked by a potential employer.
