I think my wife and I were inspired to go on a cannabis vacation because we have to travel to shop for marijuana for sale.
Our home state still doesn’t allow a legal form of cannabis.
That’s really tough for us because my wife has a health condition which sativa and indica strains really help to manage. Alas, there is no medical marijuana in this state. But we do have a neighboring state where both medical marijuana and recreational marijuana are indeed legal. So we make the three hour drive about once every six to eight weeks. I’ve enjoyed recreational marijuana over the years so I partake as well when we got to get my wife’s cannabis products. During a drive to the cannabis dispensary, we started discussing plans for an upcoming vacation. We had three destinations in mind and it dawned on us that two of those destinations were in regions where recreational marijuana was legal. We decided right then that we’d make this next vacation a cannabis touring vacation as well. We had places in the region we picked out that we wanted to see and experience. But we also thought it would be fun to tour all the local cannabis spots. And indeed, that turned out to be one of the best vacations ever. Going forward, we’re going to start planning at least one vacation a year that is centered around touring cannabis dispensaries and cannabis growers. That was one of the best parts. Just touring the cannabis grower’s facility was amazing. We’re even thinking about turning these vacations into a sort of blog or something. I think we might be onto something with cannabis destination vacations.
