The packages were all labeled inaccurately

Every 6 months, we have to rotate the stock at the store.

If anything is older than 6 months, it automatically gets pulled and placed on a clearance shelf.

I was looking at some products in the cannabis dispensary storage room and I realized that a couple of them were completely out of date. I told my boss and she said there was no way that could be true, because the packages in the storage room were brand new and had just been shipped from the distributor. I knew something was terribly wrong after she said that, because I had already double-checked the dates. They were definitely labeled and accurately. I didn’t know what to do but my boss was ready to jump into action. She contacted a lawyer that works for the cannabis dispensary. The lawyer and cannabis consultant told my boss to take everything off of the shelf that was mislabeled inaccurately. He told the manager that he would take care of everything else. About an hour later, we received a phone call from the lawyer and cannabis consultant. He told us that there was a problem at the manufacturer. He got to the bottom of the issue and even alerted the manufacturer of the problem. They had not realized that they were mislabeling products the whole time. There were thousands and thousands of products that had to be relabeled and sent back to the distributor. The problem had been occurring throughout the last 2 weeks and our dispensary happened to be the first person to notice the inaccurate dates on all of the cannabis concentrate products.
