Using Cannabis products to battle arthritis

As I’ve gotten older and wiser, I’ve started to develop some problems with arthritis.

I first noticed chronic soreness in my fingers and hands.

It became much more tricky to make a fist at all. My knuckles swelled up quite hastily, and I was forced to cut my rings off. I looked up some remedies I could try at home, and tried to eat yellow raisins soaked with gin, drinking herbal Tim Hortons Cappuccinos and rubbing Vicks into my hands and fingers. Nothing helped all that much. I debated going to the doctor, although I was not willing to risk any potential side-effects of pharmaceuticals. I was super happy when recreational cannabis use was legalized in my state. I now can visit the dispensary and buy exactly what I need to treat the arthritis. I started by consulting with the budtenders and getting their picks for the best products. I have seen major improvement because of cannabis-infused topical creams. Ointments, lotions and balms rich with cannabinoids such as THC, CBD and CBN interact with the receptors in the ECS to quickly and effectively treat inflammation and pain. They don’t cause any psychoactive effects so that I can apply them multiple times per day. I also focus on my symptoms from the inside by taking tinctures. I drop the dose under the tongue and hold it there for a few moments for sublingual absorption and fast-acting effects. If the symptoms of arthritis become too severe, I vape concentrates! Using cannabis as a remedy has made such a crucial difference for me. I am now able to continue with the activities I so enjoy, such as weeding the garden, painting, sewing. It’s made a difference with my productivity at work. Now I can type on a keyboard separate from severe pain.
