Years ago I paid a worker to do a company website for me.
They set me up with all sorts of web pages, wrote the content themselves and got the curbside pick up form all set up. It was worth the money. For years I worked off of good web design and word of mouth. I noticed recently that I hit a stale point. My sales stayed around the same every week. They were good, however not great. I absolutely thought I could do better. I noticed I was a hit with the locals, however nobody out of town even heard of our marijuana dispensary. I realized that our website didn’t rank easily high on google. I started out with pay per click advertising. That means I got a top spot on google but paid for it anytime someone clicked on it. I felt like it was costing me currency in the long run. I realized that more organic results through SEO were smarter. I am not savvy in search engine optimization services though. So I hired an SEO dealer to do all of that for me. They targeted keywords for our area, cannabis products and so much more. Suddenly our website was ranking high on google. I have seen an influx of tourists coming into our store as well. The SEO company recommends giving our web design a bit of a facelift. It has been a few years. I have added things like cannabis delivery and a vape lounge. It would be smart to do this. I want to have it done through this same dealer. They are wonderful.
