We couldn’t get someone out there until closing time, but luckily they fixed the problem before we went home for the night
I had to work six days at the cannabis shop last week. One of my co-workers was on vacation and another was out for the week with the flu. My boss asked me to work some overtime and I was happy for the extra hours. One of the extra days that I work was Friday evening. I am usually off on Fridays. Fridays are one of the busiest days of the week and I have been taking that day off for the past six months. I wasn’t surprised by the crowd of people in the store all night long. I was surprised by the indoor air temperatures. They kept getting warmer and warmer throughout the evening. I started my shift at the cannabis shop around 2 pm. I noticed the warm indoor temperatures at that time, and I even said something to my boss. Halfway through my shaft, it was clear that the air conditioner was not working very well. I told my boss that we should contact a repair company, but she thought I was going crazy. She did not believe that the indoor air temperatures were getting warmer. Around 7 PM, there was a loud banging sound and then the air stopped flowing out of the ductwork. The manager had to contact a local repair company to come to the cannabis shop. We couldn’t get someone out there until closing time, but luckily they fixed the problem before we went home for the night. The next day, the indoor temperature at the cannabis shop was just fine. The repair service fixed the issue.
