My buddies and I ordered a couple of pizzas from the Italian restaurant and I didn’t have a lot of currency left over for a tip, however it was $38 and some change for the pizzas and I only had 2 twenties in our wallet.
I told our buddies that I was going to offer the driver a joint as a tip, and they totally freaked out and said it was a disappointing idea.
They were concerned that the guy would turn us into the cops. The delivery driver turned out to be a 20 year old child that didn’t look like he wanted to be somewhere near the police. I told the guy I was bummed out I didn’t have a greater tip and I provided to smoke him out. The guy instantly got a big smile on his face and he came right inside the house. The people I was with and I smoked a big fat blunt and I provided the guy a small joint to take with him for later, when he left our house, he looked like he shouldn’t be driving somewhere. I knew it wasn’t a good proposal to offer the guy a joint, however once he left our house it was no longer our problem. I hope he made it back to work and finished the rest of the night separate from incident. It can be rough out there for a delivery driver, especially in this neck of the woods, and a drug addict or homeless guy might slice your belly open for forty bucks, a 2 liter of pop, and a pepperoni pizza with garlic knots.
