For the last three years, the cannabis dispensary where I work was the only place that sold weed in town.
After the pharmacy went out of business on the corner, a second marijuana dispensary opened their doors.
They have much cheaper prices than we do and they have a sale every day of the week for something different. I’ve been to the dispensary on a few different occasions and the business is always filled with people. If they paid the same amount of money, I would probably take a job at the new dispensary. It seems like a great environment and the budtenders are always smiling and happy. We had a meeting last Monday morning and the boss asked for some ideas to increase sales. I suggested having a large raffle for a bag filled with our best top-shelf products. A lot of people didn’t think it was a good idea, but the manager decided to give it a try. She arranged all of the details and set the project in motion. Every person who purchases at least $50 worth of cannabis supplies can enter their name into the drawing. The items inside the bag are worth $250, so a lot of people are interested in winning the prize. Several people purchased additional items from the dispensary, just so they would reach the $50 threshold for an entry into the contest. The best part is that people can enter as many times as they want, as long as they make a $50 minimum purchase inside the store. The drawing to determine the winner will be held next Saturday.
