My idea to increase sales was successful

For the past three years, the cannabis dispensary where I happen to work was the only venue that sold weed products in town. Of course, after the pharmacy went out of business altogether on the corner, a new marijuana dispensary opened their doors in town. They genuinely have much cheaper prices than we do and they have a sale each week of the month for something different. I have been to the dispensary a few times and the corporation is filled with people all the time. If they paid the same amount of money, I would certainly choose to take a job at the modern dispensary. It seems basically like a good environment and the budtenders are smiling and thrilled. We had a meeting last Sunday morning and the boss asked for some great ideas to increase sales. I suggested having a sizable raffle for a tote filled with our top-shelf products. A good amount of people didn’t think it was a wise idea, but the director decided to try this out. He arranged all of the details and set the project in motion, and every man who purchases at least $50 worth of cannabis supplies can enter their name into the contest drawing. The items inside the tote are actually worth $250, so a fair amount of people are interested in winning the grand prize. A good amount of people purchased extra items from the dispensary, just so they would reach the $50 threshold for an entry into the contest. The best thing of all is that people can enter as often as they want, as long as they make a $50 minimum purchase inside the cannabis shop. The drawing to announce the winner will be held next Sunday.
