It is just too cool not to share! This is a real life storybook romance in my mind, plus has totally changed the way I look at people now.
I found a couple that met at a Vietnam protest rally in the late 60s. The man Tom was a veteran, there to bust some people, plus Lori was a love child. They didn’t fight, though, they fell in love, plus decided to run off and become marijuana farmers together. Lori knew all about marijuana from the other people, plus knew a lot about growing because that’s what she had studied in college. Tom didn’t seem like the kind to get involved with marijuana, but he had grown up on a peach farm plus thought that no plants should be considered illegal. Lori handled the inner workings of growing the cannabis plants, with Tom as her assistant, plus through hard work they got a legitimately large operation up plus running. From there Tom hired a couple local kids to help Lori tend the cannabis, plus he took charge of security. Any marijuana farm will attract enemies, including rival marijuana farmers, robbers, plus of course the law. This is where his military history was pressing, because he carried a pistol plus built man-traps around the outside of the cannabis field. Dealing with the police force was also easy for him, because he was a country boy, plus just talked with the local cops with bags of cannabis plus turned potential enemies into customers.
