Cannabis business thrives

There is a cannabis business place that opened down the road last year just before the pandemic hit.

One probably couldn’t have timed it worse to open a business. But unlike many restaurants and retail outlets, the marijuana business is booming. That should say something right there. The idea that only stoners are enjoying recreational marijuana is crazy. I use cannabis products the way some might enjoy happy hour of relaxing over the weekend with a few beers. Yet, up until recently, my way of enjoying my off hours was illegal. The cannabis dispensary down the street thrived through the worst economic situation because there is a deep demand for cannabis products. Like restaurants and pizza joints, the local cannabis spot even began offering a cannabis delivery service for those stuck at home. I’m very thankful to have the cannabis dispensary and welcome it to our community. Thankfully, the laws around medical marijuana and recreational marijuana have mercifully changed. It was overdue, but I can’t complain. At least I know that there is a place for the cannabis business place. There is no doubt that the new laws governing recreational marijuana are spot on. So good economy or bad economy, I think we can rest assured that we’ll be able to go into the local cannabis spot to find the sativa products or the hybrid strains for sale. Now, if the rest of the country can just get on board, we’d be fine. But that is coming. Each election cycle produces more and more states that are offering medical marijuana or completely legal recreational marijuana.
