I regularly hear how multiple young men thought of their fathers as heroes.
That was something that was unfamiliar to me.
I grew up with a dad who I felt didn’t love me. We sincerely didn’t have very much in common to begin with and I felt basically like a disappointment. Then my parents ended up getting divorced and I saw much less of him. He was a busy businessman who just didn’t have much time for me. I didn’t try to feel all victimized about this however rather just dealt with it. However, thanks to medical marijuana products, I am seeing how much of a void I had in my life for so many years without my father there with me. It’s honestly amazing to me that I am using medical cannabis. The very thought that I would ever shop at a cannabis dispensary was severely ridiculous until approximately a year ago. That’s when I came to learn that my father was not going to live for much longer. And he unquestionably wanted to reconnect with me. That was not something I looked forward to. But with the urging of my partner and my therapist, I thought I’d give it a chance. Actually, my dad was using medical cannabis to manage the pain he was regularly dealing with. And he had a sort of epiphany I guess. During our first meeting, he encouraged me to look for cannabis information so that I could improve myself. I ran it by my therapist and got the green light with that. The next time I decided to visit my dad, I used some of the cannabis flower products as well. It was truly a fantastic experience for the two of us.
