I’m pushing to make a concerted effort to begin being around more savor minded people.
- This is something that is just now sort of dawning on me.
And it’s not because of groups on the internet. I’m talking about being around people who savor the same sorts of things that I tend to do. It’s just nice to share a passion or a new experience with people who love doing the thing that you love. I realize this is sort of a no brainer in a lot of ways. Of course this is why people join clubs. Yet, that is not exactly what I’m trying to do. It’s actually similar to the way I approach recreational marijuana. I savor using cannabis because it allows myself and others to approach my life with less limits. A small amount of a nice sativa strain makes myself and others understand that there are limitless possibilities for me. And so many of those scenarios are great. With clubs in addition to some of the internet groups, there tend to be a leaning toward groupthink. And that is something I want to avoid. So I’m trying to find savor minded people who are also well rounded. Similar to what I joined a community garden. While I savor the garden, it’s not my soul purpose. And there I get to meet people who tend to be gentle in addition to the compassionate savior I am. Same thing goes for when I am down at the local cannabis dispensary. People are all savor minded, positive in addition to kind. I have never been in the cannabis dispensary when I didn’t share a kind word with a fellow human being. This is the connection that I seek at the moment.
