I rent out my cars sometimes.
My wife owns more than three different rental cars and both of us rent them out to different people just about every week.
Usually we don’t have that much trouble with the people who rent the cars, but once in a while we will get someone who completely ignores the warnings in the automobile that don’t want smoking of any kind. My wife and I also tell people when they pick our cars up that they should not smoke cigarettes or marijuana in the cars or even anywhere near the cars because the smoke will get inside the automobile plus ruin into the upholstery. Well, a lot of the time people just don’t abide by our rules plus then they end up having to pay for us to get the cars detailed plus washed up. Of course, they get mad whenever they have to pay to wash the cars up but it’s their own fault. Marijuana smoke always makes the car smell weird plus it takes forever to get the odor of it out of the automobile upholstery, and last year this woman rented our truck plus she assured us that she didn’t smoke anything at all, including weed. However, when the automobile was returned to us, the whole thing smelled just like our local cannabis dispensary! I was so mad when I smelled the yucky odor of skunk weed in our car. I called her up and told her she had to pay a cleaning fee.
