The lady didn't want to hear the truth

I had to deal with an irate customer this afternoon and I almost lost my temper.

It’s probably the closest that I have ever come to yelling at a customer. She was screaming in my face and calling me horrible names. I don’t usually have customers that are upset or unhappy and that is one of the best perks of being the manager at a medical marijuana dispensary. Most people coming to the medical marijuana dispensaries are in a great mood. Particular customer was upset because she filled her entire prescription of medical marijuana five days earlier. She came back to the store and wanted to purchase more medical marijuana. One of the budtenders tried to tell her that she did not have authorization to purchase any more medical marijuana. There is a state law and she already purchased the amount that is allowed by state law. When the bartender would not change her mind, she demanded to speak with the manager. I came out of the office halfway through the conversation and I heard some of the yelling and shouting. I politely asked the customer to calm down and carefully explained how her medical marijuana prescription works and the limitations. You can only buy so much quantity, just like any other controlled substance. We don’t make those rules or regulations. When she refused to listen, the security guard had to escort her out of the building. I hate to forcibly remove someone from the dispensary, but she was beginning to cause a huge disturbance and she would not listen to reason.
