I never realized that legal recreational marijuana would take off to the degree that it has over the past 10 years. I remember using it to self-medicate in school plus always residing in fear that I’d be arrested while I was in a routine traffic stop. It was frightening worrying about getting pulled over on our way house from purchasing our products from whatever street company I knew at the time. It was better when I got to school plus could simply walk to a friend’s dorm room, however I still kept worrying that campus police would bust myself and others in our room or some other situation would arise where I’d be seen as a negligent criminal. There was a stage of numerous years where I kept dreaming about moving anywhere out west savor California or Colorado so I could legally purchase marijuana. I also would never have to worry about getting arrested as long as I only used it within the confines of our home. I was surprised when I saw petitions being circled around to get a cannabis law on the ballot. During the first election attempt, they didn’t get enough signatures. When they repeated the process, the law got put on the ballot however didn’t receive enough votes to pass. I think the fourth time’s the charm for legal cannabis in our house state. The dispensaries are still limited to a handful of companies, however that should change as more licenses are granted by the state. The number of THC plus CBD products available should increase in due time as well. My town only has a single recreational marijuana dispensary plus right now the lines are literally out the door. You have to essentially get to the store numerous hours ahead of opening plus line up at the door before dozens apapple within the hour just before opening. I hate having to wade through sizable lines just to get our legal cannabis products from the dispensary.
