Medical cannabis has been legal in this state for the past two years.
Still, this small county has only a single medical cannabis dispensary.
The place is always busy and they rarely have a huge selection of stock. I don’t know if they have a problem with ordering or if the stock just sells that quickly. I prefer to use sativa strains during the day. When I go to the cannabis dispensary, I tried to find some sativa strains and some indica strains. Indica strains such as Grand Daddy Purp, 9lb hammer, and Northern Lights are great for relaxation and sleep. I always smoke a pre-roll before bed and I choose something in the indica category. During the day, indica strains are no good. They make me feel too relaxed and tired and sleepy. I need something to help me feel energetic and uplifted, so I can work throughout the day. That’s why I choose sativa strains for daytime smoking. Sativa strains such as Blue Dream, Jack Herer and Sour Diesel give me loads of energy. I feel totally focused and ready to complete a hundred tasks. It’s a much different feeling than when I smoke indica. I’m glad the cannabis dispensary carries a few different strains of each type of flower, but I always wish they had more choices in the sativa department. They have a ton of hybrid flavors, but it’s hard to grab more than one sativa at a time. I hope more medical and recreational dispensaries will open in the near future, so our selection will be even greater.
