Just take a break from weed

I have no moral problem with cannabis or alcohol, for the record, but I assume most managers want to see a fresh person applying for a task

It may sound odd, but I truly love that I have been making a difference in the community. When I graduated from school, I moved back to my old town to work in an office that helps connect needy people with good jobs. This is not high powered work, nor is it high paying, but I find it absolutely great to do. I chat with people who need a break, and I am able to work with them to find the give them the break that they need. Most people just need a chance to work and they do absolutely well for themselves. Another bonus for this task is they don’t drug test for cannabis, which is crucial for me since I like to smoke before bed. The great irony of this, of course, is that I command all of my customers to avoid marijuana at all costs, because it could keep them from finding a nice job right in the beginning. I don’t know if it will be absolutely much longer before recreational cannabis use is fully allowed, at which point they will truly stop drug testing for it… Until then, potential job hunters should steer clear of all drugs, including pot, and don’t hit the alcohol too hard, at all. I have no moral problem with cannabis or alcohol, for the record, but I assume most managers want to see a fresh person applying for a task. If you can’t stay off weed for long enough to apply for a task, it sends the signal you don’t truly want the task.
