My friend is going to grow marijuana in the mountains

Jacob is one of my best friends.

  • I have known the guy since the 8th grade.

His parents bought a house right next door to my house. His parents and my parents still live in the same houses, and we see each other all of the time. Jacob and I also meet up at the bar or the club. We have the same friends and know many of the same people. When Jacob told me that he was going to move, I was very surprised and shocked. Jacob never talked about moving anywhere, and now he was discussing moving to the other side of the country. I was even more surprised when Jacob told me that he was going to work on a marijuana grow farm. The marijuana grow farm is looking for people to help with the spring harvest. They need workers for three months and there is an opportunity to make fifteen thousand dollars. Jacob seems really excited about the opportunity, but I think it sounds like a shady deal. The marijuana grow farm wants people to work during the harvest season. That is only three months long. After that, Jacob will have to find another job. He asked me to go on this adventure, but I can’t quit my job for temporary work. Hanging out on a marijuana grow farm sounds like a fun day, but I can’t risk a full-time job for three months of adventure. I am already working somewhere with benefits like dental, vision, and health. I am hoping for a promotion in a few months and I don’t want to risk it all. I really wish my friend the best of luck.
