The first time I visited a cannabis dispensary, I was completely clueless.

My job is quite stressful and I often suffer from headaches and have difficulty sleeping. I hoped to find some relief through cannabis. I wasn’t familiar with any of the different strains of ingestion methods. I should have done some research to get a little more familiar with the products on the market. Instead, I simply drove to the nearest dispensary and hoped they would guide me. Fortunately, the staff at my local dispensary is really wonderful. I was greeted and made to feel welcome from the moment I stepped inside. When I admitted my lack of knowledge, a budtender offered to take me around and explain the difference between flowers, edibles, tinctures, oils and the other products available. I was surprised by the many different methods of ingestion. I assumed that I’d need to smoke cannabis. There was an entire display case devoted to edibles with cannabis infused in them, from cookies and brownies to pasta sauces and coffee infusions. There was a line to topicals and even bath bombs. The budtender explained that the dispensary has their own growers who create strains to their specific requirements. They are able to uphold higher standards of quality from seed to shelf. I really enjoyed my tour of the cannabis dispensary. There is a vape lounge, dab bar and an outdoor zen garden. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing. The entire facility is very modern, well-kept and clean. I was relieved to find a welcoming environment where I could safely make a purchase.
