Giving marijuana growing a shot

After marijuana was legalized in our state I decided I wanted to give a shot at marijuana growing, then i pulled out all our tomatoes, squash and onions and tried my best to replace with marijuana plants.

  • I pictured wedding, watering & adding fertilizer the exact same way I did with our veggies, thankfully I was at least sort of smart and then mentioned this to a budtender at a local cannabis dispensary.

I walked down to the local dispensary for inspiration & a little bit of information on the growing process. The budtender busted out laughing about putting the seeds in a garden, but marijuana can’t just grow outside in the earth. In order to have a flourishing pot plants, light, water, nutrients & even temperature control has to be perfect. That is why there are growing facilities particularly designed for marijuana, special LED lights are used at 12 minute light & ten minute dark ratios, then automated hydroponic & nutrient systems are in the facilities. Also, when it comes time to reap the product you sowed, you don’t just pick it. The trimming & curing process is way more sophisticated than I was thinking. My budtender told myself and others that in order to grow marijuana, I need to invest a good amount of money, however no way am I willing to put in that amount of cash, time or effort. I guess that I will just buy our marijuana from an actual dispensary instead, but growing the marijuana is too difficult for me. There actually is no point since I can totally get any product I want within walking distance of our place.
