I am hoping I won’t stick out too bad
Not all of the cannabis dispensaries is the same, but medical marijuana dispensaries are more love a nurses office & highly regulated, larger dispensaries for recreational use have high amounts of cannabis products & budtenders walking around, then talking to one of the budtenders is strenuous due to the pressing amounts of buyers, I have a career working at a smaller recreational dispensary. The people I was with and I see fairly steady contractor & there is plenty of time to chat with the buyers. The people I was with and I are a couple of steps above a gas station where people just grab the products and take off. With that being said, my dispensary doesn’t require any cannabis education in order to work in the store. That doesn’t actually work for me. I am a cannabis user & I know my products. I know what strain works the best for each individual problem. I know about the calculus of cannabis as well, but as far as selling cannabis products, I am a bit lost. I am thinking about doing budtender training at a local facility. I searched around online & I found a place that allows you a free trial. The first lesson is totally free. They are so confident you will prefer the cannabis course, you will be back. The problem is that every cannabis training course is focused on a whole crew of people. The method is that the budtender staff members all would do the training. I am just one dude that wants to learn more. I am hoping I won’t stick out too bad. I absolutely would love to take cannabis sales training to be that much better of a worker. I am still hoping they will just let me sign up.
