It seemed like I was never going to get a job again. There were no nice jobs around. I had a number of interviews set up and then they never happened. I never got a call back to a bunch of jobs. I needed some help. My friend Thomas said that they were hiring at the local cannabis dispensary. I absolutely enjoy cannabis for recreational purposes. I figured that I knew a lot about cannabis products. I figured this would be a fantastic job for me! When I went to apply for the job, that is when I acquired that I would need to get some cannabis education courses in order to even be considered for the job. Also, there are budtender training courses to take. These courses are so I can learn all about the cannabis products the dispensary sells. Also the training is to help me help the customers. I need to know what the products are, what they do and what would work for different types of people. In the end the cost of the training program was a little bit pricey. It was around 300 bucks each course I took for a job that I didn’t even have yet! I figured it would be worth it though if I was able to get the job. So I decided to take the extra budtender training course to be even more qualified. Being a guy who has smoked plenty of cannabis, I was surprised to learn so many things that I wasn’t aware of before. I didn’t know about curing cannabis to give a higher quality product and I didn’t know much about terpenes either. The terpenes are what supply the taste and flavor of the cannabis flowers… Oftentimes the terpenes will be taken out for extraction and reinfused into extracts so they are able to maintain those flavors which is absolutely cool!
