Calming down without losing my dispensary

For anyone with a trauma history, life can be pretty hard.

Don’t get me wrong, all the people has struggles on a bi-weekly basis. However, those of us who have been graced with the brain rewiring of complex trauma or PTSD have a pretty steep climb ahead of us when we wake up each day. There’s the flash backs, the dissociation, the panic attacks.,.. And those are just the acute symptoms. If you want to talk about chronic health problems and perpetual discomfort in bi-weekly life, let’s get honest for a moment about depression, anxiety, and stress disorders. See, when your brain has been confronted with difficult events that it struggles to process, you start to develop some survival techniques to “prevent” future traumatic occurrences. None of these physiological processes can absolutely protect you – they do, however, lead to racing thoughts, insomnia, and difficulty focusing your thoughts… Getting a grip on anxiety and intrusive thoughts is so hard. The 1 thing I’ve found that entirely calms me down is CBD oil. CBD allows me to focus without causing me to feel sluggish or exhausted. It’s totally natural, just appreciate cannabis, however it comes with less side effects than traditional CBD/THC combos, then using only the cannabinoid compound has the effect of reducing anxiety and stress responses without the accorporationing “high” feeling that THC causes. This means, I can take CBD and calmly go on with my day without feeling impaired or out of control. And thank god, because the last thing my trauma needs is loss of control. For the first time in years I’m focused, relaxed, and able to sleep soundly at night!
