I think my son added too much water.
When my son expressed interest in botany, I thought it would be fun to learn how to grow a marijuana plant. My son was already in high school and old enough to understand horticulture. Since marijuana has become legal in our state, my husband and I have no problem with growing or cultivating marijuana. It was actually pretty neat to see our son so interested in botany and horticulture. For Christmas last year, my husband and I bought my son a small grow box and a packet of seeds. The grow box is 3 ft in length and 16 in deep. The bottom of the grow box has a plastic screen that is filled with holes. There is about 2 or 3 inches of room between the plastic screen and the bottom of the grow box. This is a place for water to drain, without the soil being saturated. The grow box also came with a lid and an artificial light. The artificial light has several different colors, and its design is supposed to be best for marijuana growth. My son was very excited about our gift, and he immediately planted half of the seats. Unfortunately, the first batch didn’t go very well. I think my son added too much water. The second batch of seeds were much different, and those plants are still growing. They’re almost 36 in high now, and we are already starting to see full beds on both of the plants. My son might have a bright future in marijuana farming and cultivation. He definitely did better than me, when I was that age.
