I tried marijuana a few times when I was a kid, and I hated the way that it tastes. My friends and I smoked a joint, and I even tried to smoke marijuana in a bowl. I guess the ban on marijuana wasn’t a big deal to me, because I never smoked it much as an adult. Now I’m in my sixties, and things are much different. I went to the doctor, because of my rheumatoid arthritis. The doctor suggested that I try some different things to help my symptoms. I often have nerve pain, restless legs, and body aches. For a while, I was using Tylenol and ibuprofen. When my old doctor suggested an opioid to help, I didn’t want to go that route. Another doctor suggested trying marijuana. It was new at the time, but medically legal for my physical ailment. The doctor gave me a prescription, and I went to the marijuana dispensary for the first time in my life. I had to drive into the capital city, but I found the experience to be a lot of fun. The marijuana dispensary had a lot of cool items like edibles, vape pens, and wax. I decided to buy some space cake, which was a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting, infused with chocolate Kush marijuana. The space cake tasted much better than anything else, and the pain relief lasted for hours. From now on, I’m going to see if this helps my symptoms.
